Boston University Health Literacy Course
We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Boston University Student Health Services and will be launching our Health Literacy course in Fall 2025! Our 0-credit course will carry a BU Hub unit in Research and Information Literacy and will meet once a week. This course will empower college students with essential healthcare skills, covering topics such as navigating health insurance, understanding different healthcare providers, preparing for emergencies, and confidently managing doctor appointments.
Online Health Literacy Course
We are gearing up to launch an online, asynchronous health literacy course on Udemy for you to take whenever, wherever! Much like our in-person Boston University curriculum, this online course will feature a variety of different modules for you to work through at your own pace, advancing your health knowledge and preparing you to navigate the complex healthcare system on your own.
Launching on April 15th, 2025, our first module will focus on the specifics of health insurance and will provide you with over 10 hours of engaging lessons and activities to assess your knowledge. By bringing empowerment to your fingertips, at the end of this module, you’ll have all of the essential tools to navigate your health insurance.
