At HealthPair, we’re always looking for new and innovative ways to help you navigate your own healthcare. As such, we’re excited to announce our novel Clarified Care Series which consists of several online, self-paced courses covering a variety of pertinent topics. Confused by copays? Unsure what “out-of-network” really means? You’re in the right place! We are gearing up to launch Health Insurance 101, our first online, asynchronous health literacy course on Udemy for you to take whenever, wherever! Much like our in-person Boston University curriculum, this online course will feature a variety of different modules for you to work through at your own pace, advancing your health knowledge and preparing you to navigate the complex healthcare system on your own.

Effective April 15th, 2025, this course will focus on the specifics of health insurance and will provide you with over 10 hours of engaging lessons and activities to assess your knowledge. By bringing empowerment to your fingertips, at the end of this module, you’ll have all of the essential tools to navigate your health insurance.

Health Insurance 101 is a beginner-friendly course designed to help you make sense of your coverage. You’ll learn how to choose the right plan, avoid costly mistakes, and confidently navigate the healthcare system. Perfect for students, young adults, and anyone new to U.S. health insurance. Take the guesswork out of getting care––let’s break it down, together.


We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Boston University Student Health Services and will be launching our Health Literacy course in Fall 2025! Our 0-credit course will carry a BU Hub unit in Research and Information Literacy and will meet once a week. This course will empower college students with essential healthcare skills, covering topics such as navigating health insurance, understanding different healthcare providers, preparing for emergencies, and confidently managing doctor appointments.
