President/Founder

Tanusha is a medical student at Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. Tanusha aims to bridge the gap between provider and patient, especially for young adult populations, through her HealthPair Health Literacy course curriculum development and Medical Spanish teaching programs.

Talya

Finance/Founder

Talya is a medical student at Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. She is passionate about widening the health literate population and making health literacy tools more accessible to younger populations. Talya is currently working on sustainable financing for HealthPair.

Ayo

PR/Social Media

Ayo is a biochemistry and molecular biology major on the pre-med track with a double minor in public health and business: innovation and entrepreneurship at BU. By advocating for health literacy, she hopes to empower individuals, especially those from immigrant backgrounds, to navigate the complexities of healthcare, make informed decisions, and enhance their overall health outcomes.

Beamlak

Beamlak is a biology major with a minor in African languages and studies at Boston University. By working with HealthPair she hopes to aid in encouraging the student population to think about their health and the healthcare system, in hopes of them being their own health advocate and learning to advocate for others as well.

Riya

Secretary

Riya is majoring in Biology with a specialization in Cellular, Molecular, and Genetics at Boston University. She joined Healthpair to address the many challenges her friends have faced while navigating their healthcare as emerging young adults. Riya believes that a significant part of becoming an adult is taking control of one’s own health, and she is dedicated to ensuring that all young adults have the resources they need to do so.
